A tragic incident unfolded in Chicago over the weekend, resulting in the deaths of a father and his son following a jewelry store heist, as confirmed by local authorities.
The Chicago Police Department reported that on Saturday at approximately 5:49 p.m., an unidentified man entered a jewelry store in the Little Village neighborhood and committed a robbery. According to a report by FOX 32, the suspect engaged in a physical confrontation outside the store, during which he discharged a firearm, striking two individuals.
One of the victims, a 63-year-old man, was shot multiple times in the head, body, and face. He was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.
The second victim, a 25-year-old man, also suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The two men were later identified as Faustino Alamo, 63, and Luis Alamo, 25, who were father and son, CBS News reported.
