In a significant legal development, five MS-13 gang members have been convicted of committing six murders, as revealed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California on Monday.

The gruesome acts involved victims meeting their end through strangulation, gunfire, stabbing with knives or a machete, or being bludgeoned with a baseball bat. In certain instances, the bodies were discarded by being flung off cliffs or down slopes in the Angeles National Forest.

Among those convicted are Walter Chavez Larin, Roberto Alejandro Corado Ortiz, and Edwin Martinez, who faced charges of conspiring to breach the RICO Act. Additionally, Chavez and Corado were found guilty on two counts of murder committed in aid of racketeering, while Martinez was convicted on three counts of the same crime.

Two other defendants, siblings Bryan Alexander Rosales Arias and Erick Eduardo Rosales Arias, were each convicted on a single count of murder in aid of racketeering.
