ANKARA – In a tragic incident, Turkey’s Defense Minister has confirmed that all 20 crew members aboard a military cargo aircraft that crashed in Georgia have perished.

The ill-fated C-130 aircraft had departed from Azerbaijan and was en route back to Turkey when it met its unfortunate end on Tuesday. The crash occurred in the Sighnaghi municipality of Georgia, near the Azerbaijani border.
