Paris Jackson has openly addressed her past struggles with substance abuse by sharing a candid view of her perforated septum, a consequence of her drug use.

“👋🏼☺️ To those curious about why I posted this, it’s not meant for you ♥️,” she clarified in the comments section of the Shade Room’s Instagram post on Tuesday.

The “American Horror Story” star explained, “As someone recovering from addiction to heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, alcohol, and more, my main goal is to share the message of recovery with others who are battling similar issues. It’s about spreading awareness, not glamorizing it.”

“If you can’t relate to this, it’s understandable why it might be puzzling. That’s perfectly fine. It’s simply a different life journey, and I’d be thankful for that!” she continued.

At 27, Jackson emphasized that her initial video was intended “for those who are either already on the road to recovery or have yet to embark on it.”

In a candid TikTok video Monday, the “Let Down” singer told her followers that she had a septal perforation, a hole in the cartilage or bone between your nostrils, per the Cleveland Clinic.

“I have a really loud whistle when I breathe through my nose,” the only daughter of the late Michael Jackson shared.

Paris then placed her phone light up to her nose so viewers would see the hole in the back of her nostrils.

“That is umm … what you think it’s from. Don’t do drugs, kids. Or, I mean, do. Everyone is going to have the experience they need to have with life,” she said.

“I’m not going to tell anyone what to do. But I don’t recommend it because it ruined my life,” the “Sex Appeal” star added.

Paris shared that she didn’t “want to get plastic surgery to fix” her nose because she is “almost six years sober” and she didn’t want to take pills during her recovery.

In January, the actress shared she celebrated five years of sobriety from alcohol and heroin.
