Alan Carr has once again captured the nation’s affection with his unexpected yet emotional triumph in the gripping finale of Celebrity Traitors.

To celebrate his victory, the comedian’s wax figure at Madame Tussauds has been given a makeover inspired by the hit show.

A week after being crowned the first-ever winner of Celebrity Traitors, Alan’s wax figure was unveiled at Madame Tussauds London, now donning the show’s iconic dark-green hooded robe and holding a lantern.

The decision to update the figure came after a flood of public requests, eager to see the Traitors’ champion immortalized in wax.

Responding to the fans’ enthusiasm, Madame Tussauds announced on Thursday that the figure has journeyed from Blackpool to take its place in a castle-themed setting near the Fashion Runway Zone for a limited two-week engagement.

In snaps of the waxwork’s makeover, Alan is seen replicating the hilarious clip with his hood up carrying a lantern that went viral after the first episode.

His waxwork wears a pair of black trousers and a plain shirt, as well as a black blazer with bright red lining.

Alan’s Traitor ensemble was completed with the iconic green cloak as he carried a lit lantern on his way to the turret.

‘We are – in the words of Kate Garraway – “flabbergasted” by the number of requests we’ve received calling for Alan’s figure to return to the attraction floor,’ Madame Tussauds general manager Steve Blackburn said.

‘We’ve been faithful, listened to our visitors, and brought the figure back with an iconic new look to celebrate Alan’s Celebrity Traitors win.

‘We can’t wait to welcome fans eager to see cloaked Alan in London and relive one of TV’s most talked about moments of the year.’

Alan Carr’s Traitors-inspired figure will be on display at Madame Tussauds London from this Thursday until Friday November 28, holding court among the star-studded line-up near the Fashion Runway Zone.

Fans watched on as the comedian, who was picked as an unlikely Traitor by host Claudia, 53, at the start of the series, took home the £87,500 prize money after he remained undetected throughout the competition.

Alan, 49, carried out two murders in plain sight throughout his time on the series, as well as voting off countless other Faithfuls, and even his fellow Traitors.

Throughout the game, the comedian appeared to be revelling in ‘murdering’ his co-stars, after taking out best pal Paloma Faith early in the game.

He told fellow Traitors Cat Burns, 25, and chat show host Jonathan Ross, 64, that he’d even got to the point of ‘enjoying’ killing off the Faithful after his co-stars got him to ‘do the dirty work’.

And he faced an uphill battle to the end after the Faithfuls voted out his fellow Traitor Cat in the tense final episode, leaving him the last one standing.

Earlier this week it was revealed Celebrity Traitors has been renewed for a second season just days after the record-breaking first series saw more than 14 million viewers tune in for the final.

The BBC One series, which is a spin-off of the regular format of The Traitors, launched in October with a star-studded line-up of famous faces.

While rumours had been circulating that celebrity names were already being thrown into the hat for a second series, the broadcaster has now confirmed it’ll be back on screens in 2026.

Host Claudia Winkleman will once again be back as host as a new group of contestants take on the game of trust and treachery.

Brand new episodes of spin-off series Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked will also return to BBC Two and BBC Sounds.

The BBC also revealed the huge financial impact it had on the company – after drawing in millions of viewers over the successful series.

The debut episode brought in a mammoth 14.8 million viewers, making The Celebrity Traitors the biggest unscripted title for the BBC since 2021.

The finale also broke records, averaging 11 million viewers throughout its broadcast – the biggest overnight audience for the BBC, surpassing its own record-breaking Gavin & Stacey Christmas special finale last year.

The finale was also had 1.9 million viewers on BBC iPlayer, the highest live-viewing figure for any entertainment show broadcast on the streaming site.
