SAVANNAH, Ga. — Expect a calm and pleasant fall weekend as high pressure prevails over the region, bringing warm and inviting weather conditions.

The weather will remain fairly uneventful, beginning with a chilly start on Saturday. Morning temperatures will dip into the 40s for most areas, but the day will quickly warm up under clear, sunny skies, reaching the 70s by afternoon. Sunday is set to be slightly warmer and a bit more humid.

Two weak cold fronts are expected to pass through early Monday and again midweek. However, these fronts are not anticipated to bring significant moisture, so dry conditions will persist over the next several days. As the week progresses, temperatures will rise slightly, accompanied by an increase in humidity.

Looking ahead, the weather pattern could shift by next weekend. Forecast models suggest a more active storm track could develop, potentially bringing unsettled weather to the Deep South. Locally, rain chances are expected to be minimal towards the end of the week.
