The cast of Shahs of Sunset is making a return to the Bravo TV lineup.
Bravo has announced that The Valley: Persian Style will debut on Thursday, January 8. This new series, a spinoff of the popular show The Valley, will spotlight a close-knit circle of Persian friends who have traded the opulence of Beverly Hills for the more suburban charm of the San Fernando Valley.
Who’s part of ‘The Valley: Persian Style’ cast?
Viewers can expect a blend of familiar faces from Shahs of Sunset along with some newcomers in The Valley: Persian Style.
Returning to the small screen are Reza Farahan, Adam Neely, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, Mercedes Javid, and Tommy Feight. Joining them as fresh additions to the Bravo family are Tanin Nikpey, Greg Haroutunian, Sky Asakari, Bamshad Akbar, Natasha Boroumand, Amir Boroumand, and Reza Jackson.
The series will chronicle the lives of these individuals as they balance marriages, parenthood, and successful careers, as stated in Bravo’s show description. However, as they strive to keep it all together, cracks in their personal and romantic relationships begin to surface. Firmly rooted in a culture that prioritizes family, friendships, and loyalty, the cast members often find their emotions taking the lead as they navigate the ups and downs of life.
The Valley: Persian Style will follow the cast, who are “juggl[ing] marriages, parenthood and thriving careers,” according to Bravo’s description of the show. But as they attempt to mange it all “cracks in their relationships – both between lovers and friends – begin to emerge. Rooted in their culture that values family, friendships and loyalty above everything else, emotions often take over as these fiery personalities navigate their highs, lows and everything in between.”
Here’s where things stand with the cast heading into the premiere season:
After 14 years together, Reza F. and Adam are embracing a calmer life away from the city. After years of ups and downs, Reza finally feels like he’s in a good place with with Golnesa and Mercedes. But old wounds still linger and could open up again.
Mercedes and Tommy are at a crossroads as the pressures of parenthood, career, and family threaten to upend their life together after their fairytale 2018 wedding.
Golnesa has swapped club nights for playdates since welcoming her son in April 2020. But her fiery spirit remains bright as ever, even after a short-lived marriage to an old friend.
Sky and Bamshad are at odds – both physically and emotionally – in this chapter of their lives. Her sense of discipline and his playful energy bring balance to their home. But unresolved grudges block them from moving forward.
Tanin and Greg appear to have it all: love, success and a thriving social life. But their marriage has been tested in more ways than one and they must find a way to rekindle their connection.
Natasha and Amir bring a grounded energy to their chaotic, tight-knit group. But the sometimes struggle to balance a full life while raising young children.
Resident charmer, Reza J. is looking to build his ties in the Persian community. While he’s starting to consider settling down, he’s not quite ready to put his playboy ways behind him.
‘Shahs of Sunset’ alums are ‘grown as f*ck’ in new spinoff
Some of the faces might be familiar, but the vibe has changed since Shahs of Sunset ended in 2021 – or so some of the cast claims.
“Since Shahs ended, we’ve all become, like, grown as f*ck,” Reza F. insists in the first look at the show.
“In the last five years, a lot has happened. We have kids now,” Mercedes explains.
But those changes don’t mean a reduction in drama. The trailer teases major tension between Sky and GG.
“I don’t like to live in the Valley. I don’t like the food, I don’t like the vibe,” Sky rants during a group dinner.
“Bro, we’re on a TV show called The f*cking’ Valley!”” GG says.
Later, GG gets in Sky’s face. “I wasn’t raising my voice until you raised your f*cking voice at me!” she yells.
“I will drop you like the napkin that I clear my nose with,” Sky appears to say in response.
The Valley: Persian Style’s first season will also address Mercedes’ split from her husband, Tommy. (The two filed for divorce in October 2025.)
At one point in the trailer, Mercedes confesses to her mom, Vida, that she “just [doesn’t] fee happy.” Vida then sits down with Tommy. When he hears that his wife is unsatisfied with their relationship, he has a blunt response.
“Then she should get divorced,” he says.
The Valley: Persian Style premieres Thursday, January 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
