Four Officers Injured in Kansas Shooting: Public Assured No Ongoing Threat

Meanwhile, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) is currently probing an incident in Osage County, where several law enforcement officers were shot on Saturday.

According to KBI officials, the shooting occurred around 10:30 a.m. local time at a residence situated north of 113th Street and S Topeka Boulevard.

The officers injured in the incident include three deputies from the Osage County Sheriff’s Office and a trooper from the Kansas Highway Patrol, as confirmed by the KBI.

In total, four law enforcement officers sustained injuries during the shooting, authorities have reported.

Their conditions were not immediately released.

There is no active threat to the public, according to authorities.

It is unclear if there have been any arrests.

The Topeka Police Department (TPD) confirmed on social media it sent officers to assist “a developing situation,” and none of its officers were injured.

The TPD and Kansas Highway Patrol referred Fox News Digital inquiries to the KBI, which did not immediately respond to additional inquiries.
