Monica Garcia, a former star of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, has openly criticized Jeff Lewis following his controversial joke about her financial situation. During a Bravocon event, where Lewis shared the stage with Andy Cohen, he sparked controversy by making an offhand remark about Garcia’s affluence.

In a playful yet pointed manner, Lewis questioned, “Why did Monica Garcia get hired? She wasn’t affluent. Didn’t her food benefits just get frozen?” His comment seemed to leave Andy Cohen visibly uneasy, highlighting the awkwardness of the moment.

Garcia did not let the remark slide. She swiftly responded by taking to her Instagram Stories to express her displeasure, calling out Lewis for his insensitivity.

Andy reportedly looked uncomfortable after Jeff made the joke.

Jeff’s comment, of course, did not go well with Monica, who then took to her Instagram Stories to slam Jeff completely.

“Let me be so clear, I have so much said about me that I let slide and don’t care to acknowledge, but considering what so many families, single moms, elderly, and Americans have been and are dealing with lately in relation to this situation, this is HORRIBLE,” wrote Monica on November 14 on Instagram.

The 42-year-old former Bravo star however wasn’t done yet as she then wrote, “F–k you, @jljefflewis. You are F–king TRASH for this!!!!!”

“Elitist, entitled, privileged PRICK,” she added.

For the time being, Jeff has yet to respond to Monica.
