Zara McDermott has embraced a fresh look, swapping her signature blonde hair for a stunning brunette style.

The 28-year-old television personality, known for her appearance on Love Island, showcased her transformation on Instagram this Sunday after a visit to the hair salon.

In the photos, Zara flaunted her new voluminous, brunette waves, capturing attention with a series of captivating poses.

She captioned the pictures: ‘I’m obsessed with this chocolate hair colour at the moment so I had to try it myself.

She expressed her gratitude by writing, “Color by the amazing @alexe______, with a cut and blow-dry by @samuel.b.styling at @hershesons. Thank you for making me feel my best!”

This hairstyle update follows the buzz around her boyfriend Louis Tomlinson, who left fans in awe with the release of his latest track, “Palaces,” on Thursday.

Louis began dating Zara earlier this year after her split from Sam Thompson and went Instagram official with a sweet selfie this summer.

Taken from his new album How Did I Get Here?, he sings: ‘I can feel it, something is happening/ Is it attraction I’m overreacting to/ Either way, this is not how I planned it / You pull me in completely… You can stay for the night in the palaces of my mind’. 

And Zara proved she is Louis’ biggest supporter as she took to her Instagram stories to share that she was listening to the song. She simply wrote ‘incredible’. 

Fans echoed Zara’s sentiment as they told Louis: ‘Each new song you release makes me appreciate your sense of musical composition even more, but with Palaces, everything changes, my ears have been blessed!! I love it’;

‘I am speechless, it’s so good’, while others called it their ‘favourite song’ of his so far.

Their relationship is clearly supported by their siblings, as Zara’s brother wrote ‘beautiful couple’, while Louis’s sister wrote ‘love love’.

It was first revealed six months ago that Zara and Louis were dating after they struck up a romance at the start of the year, but now friends say it’s serious.

And their romance is going from strength to strength as Zara moved into multi-millionaire Louis’s north London mansion, having moved back into her parents’ house after leaving the Fulham home she shared with Sam.

Insiders told The Sun: ‘They’re smitten and she has been spending all of her time at his place, she’s pretty much moved in. Zara has even started making her social media videos from there instead of her parents’ [home].

‘But Louis’s home and her parents’ house are nowhere near each other, so it made sense that she is spending more time at his.

‘They’re in the honeymoon stage and want to be with each other as much as possible when they’re not working.

‘But after a tough year of working hard at their romance, they have split and will be focusing on their individual careers going forward into 2025.
