Trump blasts reporter who interrupted him: 'You are the worst'

During a press interaction, President Trump expressed frustration toward a journalist believed to be from Bloomberg News, accusing them of being “the worst” for interrupting him mid-response.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening as Trump addressed a question regarding Tucker Carlson’s contentious interview with white supremacist Nick Fuentes. As he spoke, another reporter interjected with a separate question.

Trump halted his response, momentarily glanced upward, then directed a displeased look at the journalist.

“Could you allow me to finish?” Trump retorted, clearly annoyed. “You are the worst. Are you with Bloomberg?” he questioned before making his way to Air Force One.

He further remarked, “You are the worst, I can’t understand why they keep you around.”

The identity of the reporter was not immediately clear. Bloomberg did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

In a tweet, CBS News’ White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs noted another recent faceoff that took place aboard Air Force One.

She wrote that Trump on Friday told a Bloomberg reporter, “Quiet, quiet, piggy” after the journalist asked “why, if there’s nothing incriminating in the files, he’s acting like there is,” in Jacobs’ words.

After he was interrupted on Sunday, Trump resumed his answer on Carlson’s interview with Fuentes.

“We’ve had some great interviews with Tucker Carlson, but you can’t tell him who to interview,” Trump said.

“If he wants to interview Nick Fuentes, I don’t know much about him, but if he wants to do it, get the word out. You know, people have to decide, ultimately people have to decide.”

Carlson, a former Fox News anchor who now hosts his own podcast, has faced backlash after his interview a few weeks ago with Fuentes – a Holocaust denier and white supremacist who has repeatedly used the N-word.

Trump was also asked about having dinner with Fuentes at his Mar-a-Lago residence in 2022.

The president said Fuentes was a guest of Kanye West’s, so he had no idea the controversial figure was coming ahead of time.

“I didn’t know Nick at the time …he came along with a few other people. [West] brought a few people with him. Meeting people, talking to people, for somebody like Tucker, that’s what they do,” Trump said. “You know, people are controversial.”

He later joked: “Some are, some aren’t. I’m not controversial.”
