ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is set to experience a stretch of warm and predominantly dry weather, thanks to a persistent ridge of high pressure dominating the area over the coming days.

Tuesday’s Forecast

While there is a slight possibility of brief coastal showers continuing into early Wednesday, the likelihood of rain remains minimal, hovering at 20% or lower.

Temperatures will rise to the low and mid-80s, with the potential for patchy fog during the night and early morning due to the presence of light winds.

However, drier air in regions near and north of I-4 might reduce the chances of significant fog developing in those areas.

Weekend

As the weekend nears, a front approaches from the north and helps turn winds offshore briefly, but it weakens as it reaches the state.

Expect temperatures to stay warmer than normal, in the low 80s, with upper 70s along the beach.

Next Week

Looking into Thanksgiving week, the warm and dry weather looks to continue into Thanksgiving before a stronger front approaches by Black Friday. If any cool air settles in, it will be short-lived.

At this point, the best chance for more significant cool weather appears to be mid-December, when large scale upper-level patterns may finally align.
