Khloe Kardashian Says She Convinced Kim Kardashian the Moon Landing Is Fake

Khloé Kardashian is facing criticism after it emerged that she influenced her sister, Kim Kardashian, into believing that the moon landing was a hoax. The revelation comes after Khloé admitted in an interview with People on November 18 that she personally doubts the historic 1969 moon landing ever occurred.

“I don’t believe in the moon landing,” Khloé, 41, confessed. “It’s quite the controversial stance. I feel somewhat guilty because I think I stirred Kim up about it, and it’s caused her a fair bit of trouble.”

Khloé further shared that she and her brother, Rob Kardashian, are skeptical of the 1969 moon landing, which famously saw astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin step onto the lunar surface. This skepticism has led them to share numerous details of the conspiracy theory with Kim, 45, deepening her doubts about the event.

“I do feel bad,” Khloé admitted, “but I’m committed to this belief.”

All's Fair

In a recent development, NASA has responded to the uproar surrounding Kim Kardashian’s doubts about the moon landing. On October 30, NASA Acting Administrator Sean Duffy tweeted a direct message to Kim, stating, “Yes, @KimKardashian, we’ve been to the Moon before… 6 times!” This tweet followed the release of an episode of “The Kardashians” on Hulu, which reignited the debate surrounding the moon landing.

Kim made headlines last month when she brought up the Apollo 11 space mission with All’s Fair costar Sarah Paulson during an episode of The Kardashians.

“I’m sending you a million interviews with Buzz Aldrin. This [reporter] asks, ‘What was the scariest moment?’ And he goes, ‘There was no scary moment because it didn’t happen. It could have been scary, but it wasn’t because it didn’t happen,’” Kim explained to Paulson, 51, adding, “I think it didn’t happen. I’m going to go on a serious deep dive. I send [Sarah] conspiracies all the time.”

The video in question was actually several interviews with Aldrin that were taken out of their original context and cut together to mislead viewers, including a clip from a 2015 event where Aldrin said there were not “scary” moments that happened during his journey to the moon. A second video featured Aldrin explaining at the 2015 National Book Festival that budget issues are to blame for so few trips to space. (A spokesperson for Aldrin did not request to comment when the video went viral.)

When explaining her arguments for why the 1969 space trip wasn’t possible, Kim claimed, “There’s no gravity on the moon. Why is the flag blowing? The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon is a different print in the photos. Why are there no stars? They’re gonna say I’m crazy no matter what but go to TikTok and see for yourself.”

While Kim claimed that Aldrin admits he never went to the moon “all the time now” and suggested Khloé getting him for her podcast, “Khloé in Wonder Land,” NASA took to social media shortly after the episode aired to set the record straight.

“@KimKardashian, we’ve been to the Moon before… 6 times!” NASA Acting Administrator Sean Duffy tweeted. “And even better: @NASAArtemis is going back under the leadership of @POTUS. We won the last space race and we will win this one too.”

Every Time the Kardashians Admitted to Photoshopping Their Photos

These are their confessions. The Kardashian-Jenner family has spent over a decade being accused of heavily Photoshopping and Facetuning their photos on social media — and sometimes, they openly admit to it. Khloé Kardashian in particular has copped to heavily editing her pictures. In 2016, the Good American founder called Facetune “life-changing” in an interview […]

Despite NASA speaking out against Kim’s theories, Khloé stood her ground while speaking to People on Tuesday, alleging that the government won’t “admit” they faked a moon landing because it would lead to other unanswered questions.

“I mean, there’s a long list of things you can look into, and some are too scary to talk about publicly because you don’t want anyone getting mad at you,’ she claimed.
