Exclusive | Dr. Jeffrey Epstein – the Long Island neurosurgeon Jasmine Crockett confused for notorious pedophile – floats epic revenge he could exact on the congresswoman

Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, a neurosurgeon from Long Island, is at the center of a controversy after Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) mistakenly suggested he might be the infamous sex trafficker. In an interview with The Post Thursday, Dr. Epstein shared his thoughts on how he might respond to the congresswoman’s unfounded allegations.

“Perhaps I should donate to Jasmine Crockett’s campaign and then announce that she accepted money from Jeffrey Epstein,” Dr. Epstein quipped to The Post, highlighting the irony of the situation.

Earlier this week, on the House floor, Rep. Crockett declared her intention to reveal what she had discovered, claiming “someone named Jeffrey Epstein” had contributed to the campaign of former Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY). Zeldin currently serves as the head of the Environmental Protection Agency.

In her speech, the Texas Democrat insinuated that Dr. Epstein’s campaign donations to Zeldin in April and August 2020 were from the notorious financier, Jeffrey Epstein, despite his death in a Manhattan jail cell months before the donations were made.

“This confusion only arose because of her comments,” Dr. Epstein remarked when asked if he had ever been mistaken for the convicted sex offender previously.

“I say my name and sometimes people will give me a look, or whatever,” he acknowledged.

Epstein’s response to awkward questions?

“I always look at them and say, ‘I don’t understand,’ and I make it like I’m dumb,” he said.

“Listen, that’s my name,” Epstein continued, seemingly annoyed by the fuss over his name.

“If my name was Jeffrey Dahmer when that whole thing came out – do you think that would be a problem?” he added. “Listen, anytime a doppelganger is tied to a less-than-desirable, it’s never a good situation.”

“But it doesn’t matter to me. I could[n’t] care less.”

The only thing that bothers the doc about having the name Jeffrey Epstein is “people like you calling me to ask me these questions.”

“Don’t take that the wrong way, but you couldn’t understand that – otherwise it doesn’t bother me in the least.”
