These Spirit Christmas stores have officially opened their doors, bringing a festive flair to strip malls and shopping centers nationwide. Known for its annual Halloween pop-up shops that offer an extensive array of costumes and spooky decorations, Spirit Halloween is now expanding its seasonal repertoire with these new holiday outlets.

The company gave fans a hint of this yuletide expansion as early as August when it first teased the return of its Christmas-themed pop-up stores. With the holiday season now in full swing at these locations, Spirit is offering shoppers a chance to dive into the Christmas spirit well before the turkey is carved.

Spirit Halloween, known for seasonally popping up in hundreds of locations around the country and offering a wide variety of costume pieces and decorations for folks to prepare for the October holiday, is expanding its spinoff Christmas-themed stores. The company opened 30 Christmas-themed stores across the northeastern U.S. and Great Lakes region this year.

Spirit Halloween first teased the return of its Christmas-themed pop-up stores in August.

The flagship store opened Oct. 17 and had Santa Claus welcoming guests inside the Christmas-themed store. A spokesperson for the company said the first 100 guests also had a special discount and received a sweet treat.

Last year, the decor retailer debuted its first Christmas-themed stores, opening roughly eight stores across the Northeast. The 30 locations this year span the Northeast and Great Lakes region, according to a news release.

A Spirit Halloween spokesperson confirmed earlier this month that a few locations opened in late October, with the majority opening in early November. All locations are now open for the holiday season.

Stores are open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time. 

Spirit Christmas is already looking toward the holiday season, opening slots to book photos with Santa Claus at select store locations. The photo experiences began Friday, Nov. 21.

Hours for the Santa Claus photos are Fridays from 3-7 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sundays from noon-6 p.m. local time.
