Augusta, GA – Augusta Animal Services is spreading holiday cheer with its “Home for the Holidays” adoption event. This special event kicks off on Monday, November 24th, and runs through Wednesday, November 25th, at their facility located at 4164 Mack Lane, Augusta, GA.

The focus of the event is on puppies and kittens, with a nominal adoption fee of $20 per animal. The organizers plan to introduce additional pets into the lineup on both Tuesday (from 12 PM to 4 PM) and Wednesday (from 12 PM to 3 PM), while Monday’s hours extend from 12 PM to 7 PM.

Prospective cat or kitten adopters are reminded to bring their own carriers. Meanwhile, Augusta Animal Services will provide goodie bags, along with essential items like collars, leashes, and harnesses.

Among the adorable animals awaiting new homes are several furry companions that are sure to melt your heart. All available pets have received vaccinations, are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and have undergone heartworm checks.

Pet owners are encouraged, though not required, to bring their current pets for a meet-and-greet with potential new family members. Additionally, individuals interested in fostering—without committing to permanent adoption—are especially welcome to attend on Wednesday.
