(NewsNation) — Morgan Geyser, known for her involvement in the “Slender Man” stabbing case, advised officers to “just Google” her name after they apprehended her following an escape from a group home, as per Illinois police reports.

“The female persistently refused to reveal her true identity and initially provided a fictitious name,” stated the Posen Police Department. “After several attempts to determine her identity, she eventually confessed that she didn’t want to disclose who she was because she had ‘done something really bad,’ and suggested that officers could ‘just Google’ her name.”

Geyser, now 23, was found on Sunday after she removed her Department of Corrections monitoring bracelet and departed from her group home Saturday evening, according to the Madison Police Department. Authorities last observed her in the company of another adult around 8 p.m. local time.
