Now We've Got Dem Sen. Ruben Gallego Trying to Threaten Military Members If They Investigate Mark Kelly

Senator Ruben Gallego from Arizona is expressing strong disapproval following revelations that fellow Arizona Senator Mark Kelly is under investigation by the Department of War. The inquiry focuses on Kelly’s involvement in a video that allegedly encourages military personnel to disobey their superiors’ commands.

Gallego appears to be issuing stern warnings to those participating in the investigation, hinting at repercussions.

The Department of War released a statement on Monday confirming that Kelly faces “serious allegations of misconduct.” The situation might escalate to a court-martial or other “administrative measures” against him.

During a CNN interview, Gallego cautioned military members that repercussions will follow after President Trump’s term ends if they choose to engage in the investigation against Kelly.

“Donald Trump’s presidency will eventually conclude,” Gallego remarked. “For those in the military targeting sitting senators and members of Congress, aligning with the misuse of governmental power, there will undoubtedly be consequences.”

“Donald Trump is going to be gone in a couple of years,” he said. “And if you’re part of the military that is going after sitting senators, sitting members of Congress, and part of the weaponization of government, there will be consequences, without a doubt.”

Gallego went even further, suggesting military members would need to look over their shoulders once the Commander-in-Chief leaves office.

“I think there’s going to be a lot of officers that’ll be part of this potential tribunal, if they want to call it that, they’re going to be looking over their shoulders,” he said. “Because they know that Donald Trump will be gone and they will not have that protection.”

Gallego, practically following the playbook from the video verbatim, tossed out that military members must follow the Constitution, of course. After making several threats—”consequences,” “looking over their shoulders,” “will not have that protection”—anyway. Just follow the law *wink, wink*, that we’re interpreting for you in our comments, and all will be well.

“They’re going to have to do the safest thing possible, which is follow the Constitution of the United States, and you’ll be fine,” he suggested.

There is little ambiguity here. Gallego is threatening investigators with repercussions if they “go after” Kelly and dole out punishment. It’s intentionally tainting the inquiry.

They should be free to investigate whether or not Sen. Kelly is in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) without fear of partisan punishment for simply doing their job.

Ruben, even without threatening military members, was clearly off his rocker regarding the Kelly investigation, based on other comments today.

“F*** you and your investigation,” he wrote on X.

Gallego followed that up with a profanity-laced video in which he showed off a temperament unfit for Congress.

“This is f***ing insane. We should all point out how f***ing insane this is,” he said, perhaps looking into a mirror. “And, you know, these guys are trying to say that they’re not acting like fascists, they’re not trying to give as much power to this president as a king, then they should stop acting like it.”

“Secretary Hegseth, all these guys, f*** you guys,” Gallego said. “You’re not gonna be able to scare us.”

Hegseth might want to take a closer look at Gallego, a former Marine, in the same manner they’re investigating Kelly.
