Marking a significant milestone of four decades in service and the delivery of 40 million specialized meals to New Yorkers, God’s Love We Deliver is set to expand its operations!

Celebrating this achievement, the leading nonprofit is launching the 40 FORWARD Capital Campaign, a bold $40 million project aimed at constructing a cutting-edge meal fulfillment and distribution center in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. This new facility will work alongside their existing headquarters at the Michael Kors Building in SoHo and the Northern Dispensary in the West Village, boosting their ability to serve and optimize operations as they look forward to the next 40 years.

This growth ensures that God’s Love We Deliver can tackle today’s demands and seize future opportunities, maintaining our strength and sustainability. Liberty BKLYN lays the groundwork for a healthier city, and we encourage everyone to help us bring this vision to life.”

Spanning 30,000 square feet, the new facility at Liberty BKLYN positions God’s Love for intelligent and sustainable development. Over the upcoming years, this location will enable the organization to boost its annual meal output to an impressive 6.5 million, a substantial increase from the 4.2 million medically tailored meals delivered in the previous fiscal year.

“The 40 FORWARD campaign transcends figures; it’s about supporting individuals,” expressed Claudia Wagner, Co-Chair of the Board of Directors. “Every contribution propels us towards a more compassionate New York, ensuring that those battling severe illnesses receive the medically tailored meals they need. We extend an invitation to all to help us turn this vision into reality.”

The expansion will ensure the organization can meet growing demand and continue delivering love, dignity, and nutrition to New Yorkers who need it most. While the God’s Love headquarters will remain in Lower Manhattan, the new space will allow the organization to shift 80% of packaging and delivery operations to Brooklyn for greater efficiency and service. 

The new facility at Liberty BKYLN will host an additional 7,000 square feet of freezer space and provide dedicated loading docks, alongside overnight parking for 20 refrigerated vans. God’s Love We Deliver is excited to grow its volunteer program with the expansion to Brooklyn and plans on warmly welcoming thousands of new volunteers annually.

The move to Brooklyn is a strategic one. A quarter of the organization’s 15,000 clients already call the city’s most populous borough home. To date, the organization has raised $23.5 million toward its $40 million goal. The new facility, made possible by major donors, is now nearly complete – with a formal ‘ribbon-cutting’ opening in January 2026. 

God’s Love We Deliver has stood as a testament to what’s possible when compassion meets commitment. With its bold new facility in Brooklyn, the organization is not just cooking more meals, it’s preparing for the future of New York itself. In order to reach that future, they need support. Every dollar donated and every volunteer hour given helps fuel the mission of nourishment, dignity, and love. As God’s Love looks ahead, one thing is clear, with the support of New Yorkers who give their time and resources, millions more meals of hope and healing are yet to come.
