A Utah woman who disappeared after attending a bonfire in California has been safely recovered.
The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office announced in a statement on Sunday that 35-year-old Danielle Staley has been found unharmed. She is safe and in good health.
Previously reported by CrimeOnline, Staley was last seen on the night of November 7, near a bonfire in Aptos, close to Rio Del Mar State Beach, around 11:30 p.m.
Deputies in Santa Cruz County expressed concerns for her safety, suggesting the possibility of foul play after discovering some of her personal items.
Details regarding the circumstances of her recovery remain unclear, and no further information has been released at this time.
“We want to express our sincere gratitude to the community and to everyone who provided information and assisted in the search for Danielle. We truly appreciate it and are very pleased she was located and is safe,” the sheriff’s office said.
