Authorities in Virginia are actively searching for a high school football coach who has been missing for several days.

As reported by FOX News Digital, the Virginia State Police have officially listed 46-year-old Travis Turner as missing since Friday. Turner was last observed on November 20, dressed in gray sweatpants and a gray shirt, and wearing glasses.

Turner holds the position of head football coach at Union High School located in Big Stone Gap. He is now classified as a fugitive.

According to InsideNova, Turner faces charges including five counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of using a computer to solicit a minor.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Virginia State Police visited Turner’s residence in Appalachia on Thursday. His wife informed them he was not present, and it is believed he fled into nearby wooded areas.

Police have been focused on the area while utilizing K-9 units and drones.

USA Today reports that the undefeated team headed to playoffs Saturday. The assistant coach, Jay Edwards, stepped in and served in Turner’s place.

Wise County Public Schools said in a statement Friday that an employee at the school is on administrative leave as the investigation into Turner continues. It’s unclear, however, if that employee is Turner.
