Mark the calendar and check your schedule – former US First Lady Michelle Obama will be speaking publicly in Australia for the first time next year, and tickets go on sale today.

Michelle Obama, who served as the First Lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017, has been a steadfast supporter of women’s and girls’ issues worldwide, both during and after her husband Barack Obama’s presidency.

Next year, she is set to captivate audiences with two appearances in Melbourne and one in Sydney, scheduled for May 19-20.

The event, titled “In Conversation with Michelle Obama” and organized by Growth Faculty, will delve into her public service career, experiences in the White House, and her ongoing advocacy efforts aimed at empowering future leaders.

Her visit aligns with the release of her new book, The Look, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at her iconic fashion choices and reflects on the broader narrative of self-presentation.

“Michelle Obama is undoubtedly one of the most influential figures of our time. Her journey as a lawyer, First Lady, mother, and global icon continues to captivate and inspire across the globe,” remarked Karen Beattie, founder and CEO of Growth Faculty.

Early access tickets to the two Melbourne talks on May 19, and the one Sydney talk on May 20, go on sale from 9am today on the Growth Faculty website.
