As we near the conclusion of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season, the countdown to its official end has begun. While the season draws to a close, it’s an opportune moment to reflect on its notable events and characteristics.

In this latest update of Tracking the Tropics, our team revisits the season’s activity, which saw a total of 13 named storms. Among these, five escalated into hurricanes, with four achieving the status of major storms, reaching Category 3 and above.
