On November 24, 2025, Sir David Beckham delighted fans by poking fun at a memorable “be honest” moment from his Netflix documentary. This time, he playfully questioned his wife, Victoria Beckham, about whether she truly decorated their Christmas tree.

Victoria, the 51-year-old former Spice Girl, shared on Instagram that she had transformed their London townhouse into a festive wonderland to surprise her husband, who is now 50.

In her post, Victoria proudly declared, “The tree is ready. I’m feeling like an overachiever, I can’t lie. It’s a big tree. We’ve never been so prepared for Christmas. Ready for David’s…”

As she unveiled the beautifully adorned tree, David humorously chimed in, asking, “Be honest. Did you really decorate that tree?”

And as she opened the door to reveal the decorated tree, David was heard saying: “Be honest. Did you really decorate that tree?”

When she replied that she had, Victoria asked: “Is it a nice surprise?” David said: “Very nice surprise, Mrs Claus.”

The exchange echoed the viral moment from Beckham, the Netflix documentary, in which Victoria described herself as being from a “working class” family before David interjected with the now-famous line: “Be honest.”

Victoria then acknowledged in the documentary her father had driven her to school in a Rolls-Royce.

Earlier on the same day as her festive post went viral, Victoria had shared images of the large tree positioned by a bay window as well as lilac-themed decorations.

Victoria’s post also followed David’s knighthood last month, conferred by King Charles, 77, at Windsor Castle for services to sport and charity.

Victoria wrote on Instagram she had “never felt prouder” of her husband, sharing a photograph of the ceremony.

She said: “David, from the moment I met you 28 years ago, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country. Whether on or off the pitch, no one loves England or respects our Royal Family more, so to see you honoured by The King today is something I’ll forever cherish.”

She added: “You’ve achieved so much, and yet you’re still the same kind, humble, hardworking man I met nearly 30 years ago, as well as the most amazing husband and father. I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir @davidbeckham, we all love you so much xxx.”

After receiving his knighthood, David and his family visited Cliveden House and Spa to celebrate.

The hotel welcomed the family for an afternoon meal, where they posed for a photograph inside the historic property.

Speaking after the ceremony, David reflected on receiving the honour by saying: “I’ve been very obviously lucky in my career to have won what I’ve won and done what I’ve done, but to receive an honour like this, of a knight, is beyond anything that I ever thought that I would receive.”
