A man found guilty of causing the deaths of two women in a drunk driving incident in Urbana appeared in court on Tuesday for a new arraignment, this time facing a federal case.

Julio Cucul Bol, 29, in addition to facing state charges, now contends with allegations brought by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. These federal charges involve the alleged possession of fake identification documents. While awaiting trial for the state accusations, a federal grand jury charged Bol in May with four counts, including:

  • Making a false statement on a bank application
  • Possessing a false permanent resident card — colloquially called a green card
  • Possessing a false Social Security card
  • False use of a passport
