CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Michael Remole from Gateway Family Services joined Mitchell Rife in the studio to discuss the upcoming festive event, Christmas in the Barn.

This cherished annual fundraiser benefits Gateway Family Services and Hooves of Hope, featuring volunteers dressed in charming Charles Dickens-era costumes, creating a delightful storybook experience with a variety of activities.

Visitors have the opportunity to interact with the horses supported by these nonprofits, learn about their transformative impact, and contribute to the cause. The event also showcases a mesmerizing light display and 60 exquisitely adorned trees.

Participants can enjoy a ride on the “jolly trolley,” offering a stylish entrance to the event, and travel to the barn, eventually making their way to the clinic where Santa Claus awaits.

The festivities are scheduled to run from December 3 to December 6. For further details, visit the event’s official website.
