Arrest warrants issued for additional suspects in Old School Road murder investigation

WINDSOR, S.C. — The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office revealed on Wednesday that they have identified more suspects in the fatal shooting of Jamal Richardson on Old School Road, which occurred on November 8.

Authorities have issued arrest warrants for two individuals: Shy’Tavia Kievonna James, 23, and Tyshawn Marquez Hughes, 22, both hailing from Orangeburg.

Shy’Tavia James was apprehended around 7 p.m. on November 26 in Columbia and subsequently transferred to the Aiken County Detention Center. Meanwhile, Tyshawn Hughes remains at large.

The charges against James and Hughes include Murder, Criminal Conspiracy, and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.

Earlier, Christopher Jamal James, 21, from Aiken, had already been identified and arrested in relation to this case.
