The website appears to list all the apartments in the Wang Fuk Court high-rises, where dozens of people have died and hundreds remain missing from the devastating overnight blaze.

In a system designed to track safety and locate missing individuals, rooms are marked with either a green or red indicator. A green marker shows that the residents are safe, while a red marker signals that the occupants are still missing and in need of help. This status is determined through reports submitted to the site’s administrators via various forms and spreadsheets.

As of 11:30 am (AEDT), the site indicates that over 100 apartments have residents who are still unaccounted for. The majority of these are located in building blocks E and F.

While many entries on the site offer minimal information, some provide more extensive details about the missing individuals.

One entry, translated from its original message, states, “A 41-year-old man went missing at 16:45.”

It further adds, “His last message indicated he was trapped in a stairwell.”

Many of the “SOS” entries suggest that a significant number of those who remain missing are elderly residents.

“Three elderly people, one with dementia and another with a back problem, have been missing for nine hours,” one reads.

“Grandma Yang has been out of contact since the afternoon,” says another.

Hong Kong authorities have arrested three people on suspicion of manslaughter in relation to the fire.
