Four more charged, guns seized after Sydney public shooting

Another four men have been charged over a public place shooting in Sydney last week.

Early on Friday morning, at approximately 6:30 a.m., law enforcement responded to an incident at a residence on Aberdeen Street in Bossley Park.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that multiple gunshots had been fired into the house by individuals in an Audi sedan, which subsequently fled the scene.

Fortunately, no one inside the home was injured during the shooting.

Shortly after, police located the Audi abandoned after it had crashed near the intersection of Mimosa and Prairie Vale Roads.

Authorities reportedly recovered an automatic firearm from the vehicle.

Last Friday, a 16-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man were charged and remain before the courts.

After further investigations, a high-risk search warrant, supported by the tactical squad, was executed at a home on Phillip Street in Waterloo yesterday.

Three 20-year-old men and one 19-year-old man were arrested.

At the address, police allegedly seized more than $18,000 in cash, a Glock pistol, two gel blasters, ammunition, and firearm magazines.

The 19-year-old was charged with multiple offences including firing a gun at a home.

The three 20-year-olds were all charged with multiple offences including gun charges.

One man was also charged on outstanding warrants alleging robbery, stealing, and domestic violence offences.

They were all refused bail and will appear in court today.

The investigation continues.
