ORLANDO, Fla. – A surprising discovery was made by emergency crews in an Orlando neighborhood on Friday afternoon—a grenade was found, as reported by the fire department.
The fire officials issued a statement indicating they were initially called to address an “incident involving a potential explosive device” located in the 3000 block of Graceland Court.
Upon investigation, it was determined that the device in question was a non-explosive, inert grenade, according to officials.
The situation was subsequently handed over to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team from Patrick Space Force Base, the report stated.
