Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has revealed that Andriy Yermak, the head of his office, has submitted his resignation. This development comes amid significant political shifts within Ukraine’s leadership.

“I am thankful to Andriy for consistently representing Ukraine’s stance in negotiations with unwavering patriotism,” Zelenskyy expressed in a translated video statement. His remarks highlighted Yermak’s steadfast commitment to the country’s national interests.

Addressing potential concerns over the transition, Zelenskyy stated, “I want to put an end to any rumors or speculation. Tomorrow, I will consult with suitable candidates to appoint a new head of the office.” His comments aim to ensure a smooth succession and maintain stability in the administration.

The backdrop to Yermak’s resignation includes a raid on his home by anti-corruption investigators, adding a layer of complexity to the unfolding political narrative in Ukraine.

“Today, NABU and SAPO are indeed conducting procedural actions at my home. The investigators have no obstacles. They were given full access to the apartment, my lawyers are on site, interacting with law enforcement officers. From my side, I have full cooperation,” Yermak noted the Ukrainian-language post on Friday.
