Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa, a leading figure on OnlyFans, left her followers in shock earlier this year when she experienced a public breakdown during a marathon 10-hour dispute with her husband, Nick Lee.
The intense argument was broadcast live to a massive audience and culminated in the police visiting their $1.9 million residence in Houston for a welfare check.
In an exclusive conversation with the Daily Mail, 36-year-old Nick Lee opened up about the reasons behind the couple’s near separation and how they managed to mend their relationship through therapy, patience, and a shift in perspective.
Lee attributed their marital turmoil to a traumatic home invasion that left the 31-year-old Texas-based streaming sensation feeling vulnerable and susceptible to manipulation by an agent, whom he accuses of exploiting her condition.
Throughout the heated confrontation, Amouranth accused Lee of coercing her into producing adult content, exerting strict control over their finances, and allegedly threatening her safety and that of her pets if she didn’t comply.
She presented emails showing he had used the couple’s money to pay for escorts, one of whom was adult performer Octavia Red. At times, Lee allegedly became physically aggressive, and accused his wife of ‘kissing black men while we’re married.’
Amouranth raised the prospect of divorce and called the police. Fans described the on-camera breakup as ‘heartbreaking’ and ‘horrifying.’ She had made similar claims of being in an abusive relationship in 2022.
Speaking to the Mail, however, Lee rejected the allegations of abuse. He said Amouranth had been left traumatized by a violent crypto robbery two months before the fallout, which triggered irrational emotional spirals.

He claimed an opportunistic agent exploited that chaos to start expensive divorce proceedings she never truly wanted. Once Amouranth received PTSD treatment, he said the marriage recovered fully – and is now stronger than ever, he says.
‘Kate had extreme PTSD after, but it was pretty well hidden. Any time she got emotionally charged – angry, sad – it would go to the penultimate point of that emotion,’ Lee said.
‘Everything became life and death.’
He described Amouranth becoming increasingly unhinged and ‘superstitious,’ believing Lee was a ‘vampire’ and baptizing their seven dogs in their swimming pool because she believed the end of the world was coming.
‘After the PTSD therapy… things went back to normal, and now they’re better than any time prior – except maybe the first two years,’ he said.
‘She doesn’t work nearly as much now…she’s in a great place, and by extension we’re in a great place.’
The Daily Mail could not verify Lee’s claims with Amouranth. The star and her representatives at Evolved Talent Agency did not answer our requests for comment.
Houston Police confirmed the crypto raid but said there was no record of the welfare check in May.
Meanwhile Red publicly denied any tryst with Lee.
During the altercation, many fans sided with Amarounth, and branded Lee abusive and belittling. A moment in which Lee charged at her desk was interpreted by fans as physical intimidation and a potential physical assault.
The hashtag #ProtectAmouranth trended on social media at the time.
The case raises tough questions about domestic abuse and the high-pressure lives of multimillionaire web celebrities, who are desperate to create dramatic viral moments to keep fans engaged and boost incomes.
Experts on domestic abuse say it is impossible to fully understand a relationship by hearing only one perspective. Types of abuse – from financial control to criticism, gaslighting, and coercion – are often subtle and hard to detect.

Over the course of 10 hours, Lee and Amouranth hurled harsh words and allegations at each other as the cameras rolled
Amouranth started out as a cosplayer on Twitch in the mid-2010s, gradually moving into risqué ‘hot tub’ content before branching out to Kick and OnlyFans.
She has been ranked the most-watched female streamer on both platforms, amassing more than 14.5 million followers across multiple social media channels. Forbes named her a Top Creator in 2023.
According to Lee, her husband-cum-business manager, the couple earns as much as $30 million a year. They live in a five-bedroom home in northwest Houston with a pool and majestic oak trees on a half-acre site.
Her risqué content has seen her banned from platforms over the years. She famously sold ‘fart jars’ for $1,000 and wheat beer brewed using bacteria from her vagina, called ‘Essence of Amouranth.’
The couple’s high-profile lifestyle attracted unwanted attention in March after Amouranth posted on social media about a cryptocurrency portfolio worth more than $20 million, mostly in Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Three masked intruders broke into their home on March 2, smashing into Amouranth’s bedroom and demanding access to her crypto accounts. She was pistol-whipped until blood poured from gashes beneath her red hair.
‘They beat me… the pummeling felt like it would never end,’ she wrote on X later.
Lee was in another room but on the phone with his wife and heard everything. He armed himself and surprised the intruders as Amouranth led them to another room, shooting one attacker and forcing the others to flee.
Four males, aged 16 to 19, have been charged with serious felonies over the attack – highlighting the rise of violent ‘wrench attacks’ in America which target wealthy crypto owners. Proceedings are ongoing.
Amouranth was treated in hospital for head wounds. Lee said the attack left her psychologically shattered.

Any emotional confrontation afterward – anger, sadness, stress – hit ‘the maximum possible intensity,’ affecting fights in their marriage and how she interpreted motives, he said.
She developed explosive reactions to small issues, superstitious thinking, and paranoia, he said. Every emotion felt ‘life or death.’ At one point, she even thought Lee might be a vampire.
‘She was going hyper-superstitious. She texted the lawyer that she thinks I’m a vampire,’ Lee said. ‘Her reasons were that I declined garlic on my steak, I made a Twilight joke, and I pulled a rotten door off its hinge.’
She went into recovery mode, declining sponsorships and business deals, Lee said. At one point, she even instructed employees to baptize the couple’s dogs, in the run-up to the May 11 meltdown.
‘We had one major fight – we were just yelling at each other for like 36 hours straight,’ Lee said. ‘We’d argued before, but it had never risen anywhere near divorce.’
Lee claimed that an agent saw the temporary tension as a way to get more involved in their relationship, urging Amouranth to hire a divorce lawyer and facilitating payments.
Once Amouranth entered ongoing PTSD counseling, Lee said the erratic behavior stopped.
Within months, she ‘returned to normal,’ and by late summer, their relationship was healthier than it had been in years, he said.
The couple is now very happy, according to Lee. He stressed they are not separated, not considering divorce, and are enjoying a calmer, more stable life, with Amouranth working less while he builds his own social media profile.
On a good year, Amouranth can make $30 million, mostly from her popular Only Fans content
Lee, a music producer and composer who has worked with high-profile artists, said he is a ‘natural’ on camera and claimed to have more viewers than Amouranth — although his social media numbers suggest otherwise.
The saga underscores the pressures and perils of high-profile online fame. Trauma, social media, and public scrutiny collide in ways few can fully understand.
But for those who watched the breakdown unfold in real time, the shadow of that livestream still hangs heavy – a reminder that what happens off-camera may be far darker, more complicated, and less resolved than anyone is willing to say.
