URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — A cherished holiday tradition that began in 2019 is making its return this season. The German Christmas market hosted by Riggs Beer Company officially kicked off on Friday night.

Co-owner Matt Riggs expressed their enthusiasm about bringing an authentic German Christmas market experience to Champaign County each year. From now until the weekend before Christmas, every Thursday and Friday evening, visitors can indulge in a variety of drinks and food. It’s also a perfect opportunity for some festive shopping.
