The FBI has taken possession of a rare automobile valued at $13 million, linked to Ryan Wedding, a fugitive featured on their 10 Most Wanted list.

Wedding is alleged to have operated a criminal network responsible for smuggling around six metric tons of cocaine annually into Los Angeles, utilizing semitrucks traveling from Mexico.

This confiscation of the rare 2002 Mercedes CLK-GTR Roadster is part of the intensified search for the 44-year-old Wedding, who is accused of being a major drug trafficker and is a former Canadian Olympic snowboarder.

According to Auto Blog, only six of these Roadster models were ever manufactured.

U.S. law enforcement authorities have issued a $15 million reward for information leading to Wedding’s capture, citing his involvement in orchestrating murders.

They say Wedding and his crew are responsible for moving billions of dollars worth of cocaine and other narcotics from Mexico to Southern California.

Ryan Wedding, a former Olympic snowboarder accused of running a drug trafficking network, is facing additional charges in connection with the killing of a federal witness.

In a press conference earlier this month, FBI Director Kash Patel described Wedding as a “modern-day iteration of Pablo Escobar” or “El Chapo” Guzman.

“Ryan Wedding has orchestrated murders against his rivals, against cooperating witnesses, against anybody that crosses his path,” said Akil Davis, the assistant director in charge of the FBI in Los Angeles.

The charges allege Wedding ordered the killing of a witness who was set to testify against him in a federal drug trafficking case.
