A forceful tackle on Trevor Lawrence sparked a scuffle, numerous shoves, a couple of penalty flags, and effectively handed the Jaguars three additional points during Sunday’s matchup against Tennessee.
As the first half was winding down, Lawrence, under heavy pressure, couldn’t attempt a Hail Mary. Instead, he scrambled to his right only to be met with a hard hit by Titans’ pass rusher Arden Key near the sideline.
With the clock showing zeros, tensions flared on the Jaguars’ sideline. Amid the chaos, a helmet was pulled off, and a flurry of shoves ensued. Key and Jaguars’ offensive lineman Anton Harrison got entangled, although no punches were seen being thrown.

Before players could run to their locker rooms, two flags were thrown, both against Key, for roughing the passer and unnecessary roughness.Â

Given an extra play and an extra 15 yards, the Jaguars asked Cam Little to knock down a field goal that gave Jacksonville an 18-3 lead after two quarters.
