The Sheboygan Police Department has announced a Silver Alert in response to the disappearance of a Wisconsin man who went missing from an assisted living facility over the weekend.
Todd Edwin Janssen was last seen leaving the facility around 6:00 a.m. on Saturday and has not returned since. The facility is situated at the intersection of 13th and Eisner in Sheboygan.
Authorities note that Janssen often leaves the facility but is known to come back within a few hours, making this extended absence concerning.
According to the police, Janssen is experienced in forestry and landscaping, and there is a possibility he might have attempted to reach a local golf course.
Janssen is a white male with blue eyes and salt-and-pepper hair, showing signs of balding. When last seen, he sported a slight beard. He is approximately five feet, eight inches tall, and weighs around 180 pounds.
Jansee was last seen wearing a Carhartt jacket and a stocking cap.
Police say Janssen may be experiencing some confusion. He is “believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.”
If you have any information on Janssen or know his whereabouts, the Sheboygan Police Department encourages you to contact them at (920) 459-3333.
