The day will be characterized by cool and cloudy conditions, with temperatures peaking in the low 60s. While a few isolated showers may occur throughout the afternoon, the majority of the rain is expected to arrive later in the evening. Steady showers, potentially accompanied by thunder, are likely to persist into Tuesday afternoon.

Given that the region has been experiencing moderate to severe drought conditions, the anticipated rainfall, which will average around a quarter-inch per hour, poses a low risk of flooding. Overall, the total rainfall is predicted to be between 1 and 1.5 inches.
