Emily Simpson recently suggested that the relationship between Tamra Judge and Katie Ginella might be the most insincere she’s encountered. She also provided insights into Katie’s current standing with the cast following the reunion episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Additionally, Emily teased potential revelations involving Gretchen Rossi‘s evidence from the reunion.

During the season finale, Tamra produced screenshots accusing Gretchen of ‘liking’ homophobic content. However, Gina Kirschenheiter later claimed there was no proof of Gretchen engaging with such posts. As the episode concluded, a source implied that Tamra might have leaked information to a blogger in an attempt to undermine Gretchen. In a reunion trailer, Gretchen suggested she had evidence indicating she was set up.
Speaking on Virtual Reali-Tea, Emily discussed Katie’s position with the cast post-reunion.
“I don’t think she left the reunion feeling connected with any of us,” Emily remarked. “She seemed to expect apologies from us, yet didn’t reciprocate. There are numerous issues for which she should also apologize. She’s actively tried to tarnish our reputations and spread false stories about us. Although we chose not to address certain matters, we’re fully aware of them.”
“I don’t think that she left the reunion like reuniting with any of us at all,” said Emily. “I think she went in having the expectation that all of us are supposed to apologize to her, but I don’t feel as if that was reciprocated in any way, because I do feel like there are a lot of things that she should also apologize for. She’s made it a mission to defame all of us offline and to perpetuate false stories about us. I mean, there’s a lot of things … that we didn’t bring up because we just didn’t want to bring them up, but we’re aware and we know about it.”
“It’s hard to forge a path forward with someone when they didn’t take the time or effort to try to build any type of friendship from the get-go,” she went on. “And as far as her and Tamra, I mean, if that’s not the fakest friendship I’ve ever seen, I can’t even call that a friendship. What is that?”
Emily then pointed out how Tamra was “the one” who “brought up the blogger in the beginning” – and accused Katie of “record[ing] Shannon” last year.
“I mean, Tamra’s the one that put everything out there. So, if Katie wants to be pissed at anyone … Tamra should be number one on her list,” said Emily. “[It] doesn’t even make any sense. I mean, that’s not even logical.”
As for the reunion, Emily then shared that Gretchen had “forensics” done, with a “binder of information” concerning her claim that Tamra set up the homophobic-post issues. Although Emily doesn’t think either Tamra or Gretchen showed a “smoking gun,” she believes that Gretchen “spoke to [the issue] really well.”
