Water main break in Villa Grove leads to boil order

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Residents across parts of Douglas County are under a boil order following a water main break that occurred on Saturday.

Illinois American Water reported that repair efforts on the main break in Villa Grove commenced around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The team anticipated needing six to eight hours to finish the repairs.

The advisory map from Illinois American Water shows that the entire area of Villa Grove is affected by the boil order. Village officials confirmed that the Village of Camargo is also impacted, along with Patterson Springs and Lakewood Estates.
