Landry Kiffin no longer faces the dilemma of choosing between love and family, thanks to her father’s lucrative new position at LSU.

After keeping the college football community in suspense for nearly two days, 50-year-old head coach Lane Kiffin announced on Sunday afternoon that he had left Ole Miss to sign a $91 million, seven-year contract with the LSU Tigers.

While her father was making his way to Baton Rouge, Landry, who is a junior at Ole Miss, was enjoying the lively atmosphere on Nashville’s famous Broadway.

Earlier in the season, Landry drew attention when it was revealed she was dating LSU’s standout linebacker, Whit Weeks, just days before the Tigers faced off against her father’s Ole Miss team in September.

Prior to the Mississippi matchup, the daughter of the former Ole Miss head coach made her relationship with Weeks public by sharing a photo of them together on Instagram.

The 20-year-old Weeks, star of the recent Netflix college football series, also posted the same photo to his own social media, causing carnage between the fanbases.

It was the first time that the couple had been pictured together and their blossoming romance sparked multiple conspiracy theories with many claiming that Landry was a double agent attempting to get in the Tigers’ heads.

Lane didn’t take long to comment on the relationship, insisting in a social media post that his daughter would be ‘rooting for the Rebs.’

However, that may no longer be the case. With Lane and Weeks united in the Bayou, her loyalties will no longer have to be split.

Following Lane’s announcement, Weeks seemingly welcomed his new coach – and girlfriend’s dad – with open arms.

Weeks reshared a social media post from Barstool’s Ole Miss account, which included the photo of the linebacker and Landry with the caption: ‘We were blind.’

‘YA LOVE TO SEE IT,’ Weeks wrote over the post.

He also shared a gameday photo of him suited up for the Tigers making a crying gesture, adding a pair of laughing emojis.

Landry is the eldest daughter of Lane and his ex-wife Layla, whom the coach split from in 2016 following 12 years of marriage.

She is currently a student at Ole Miss and was reportedly a big reason that he stayed in Oxford, Mississippi when Auburn attempted to poach him back in 2022, shortly after she had started her studies at the university.

‘Me and my friends we made this slideshow … that we knew he’d find sad and really just rethink his decision. … After that, he told us he was gonna stay. So, it worked!’ she said in the ESPN documentary ‘The Many Lives of Lane Kiffin.’

However, with both her dad and her boyfriend now down in Baton Rouge, it is unclear if she will be following suit.

Lane and Layla, who reportedly recently reconciled, also share younger daughter, Presley and son, Knox.

Presley currently plays volleyball at the University of Southern California as a freshman outside hitter.

Meanwhile, Knox, the couple’s youngest, is a sophomore quarterback at Oxford High School in Mississippi and a Class of 2028 recruit.

With the teenager still needing to finish his high school studies, it appears that he will enroll at a new school in Louisiana as he shared am apparent goodbye social media post on Sunday thanking Oxford.
