A cherished holiday tradition has returned to the heart of Central Illinois this year, marking its fifth anniversary in the town of Paxton.

Once again, Santa mailboxes have appeared in Paxton, inviting children to drop off their letters addressed to Santa Claus. Each letter, complete with the child’s name and address, ensures a personalized response from Santa himself. In addition to exchanging festive letters, children visiting the mailboxes can also pick up a cozy new winter hat.
