Speculation surrounding the marital status of Usha Vance and her husband, JD Vance, continues to grow as Usha has once again been spotted without her wedding ring. This is the second time in under two weeks that the second lady has appeared in public sans her ring, sparking further divorce rumors. The first instance was on November 19, just before Thanksgiving, during a visit to Camp Lejeune, a Marine Corps base, where Usha was accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump. The absence of her wedding ring during such a high-profile event set off a flurry of gossip online, with many questioning the stability of her marriage.

In response to the speculation, Usha’s team clarified that she often removes her ring for practical reasons, such as dishwashing and bathing, and had simply forgotten to put it back on. However, this explanation has been met with skepticism, given the Vance family’s access to household staff who likely handle such chores. Nonetheless, Usha was once again without her ring on December 1 during a holiday-themed event with Melania Trump at Joint Base Andrews. The pair was there to bring some festive cheer to military personnel by preparing care packages, as reported by Page Six. Observers noted her bare ring finger as she sat beside the first lady.

This latest sighting is sure to add fuel to the ongoing rumors about a possible divorce between Usha and JD Vance.
Despite the swirling rumors, Usha Vance continues to carry out her public duties with grace. During the visit to Joint Base Andrews, she showcased her eloquence by introducing First Lady Melania Trump. In a video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, Usha is seen at the podium, expressing her gratitude and respect for military personnel. “It’s truly special to be here today,” she began, before mentioning her husband, JD. “JD and I are inspired every time we fly by your care and your professionalism and are deeply grateful for your service.”

Whether these incidents are mere coincidences or indicative of deeper issues within her marriage, only time will tell. As the public speculates, Usha Vance remains poised and focused on her responsibilities.
With that said, JD wasn’t present for the brief shoutout. However, the couple, despite the rumors, isn’t shying away from public appearances. In fact, Usha’s visit to Joint Base Andrews comes days after she traveled with the vice president to Fort Campbell. The purpose of the trip was for the second family to congregate with the soldiers for an early Thanksgiving meal. On November 27, JD’s VP Instagram account posted photos of their visit. The slideshow featured several shots of them and their children. The featured image showed JD addressing a crowd of soldiers, while Usha and their three kids served food in a separate shot. However, Usha and JD didn’t appear to pose for any photos together.
Coincidence or more proof of a struggling marriage? Time will reveal all.
