HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Sarah Paulson, celebrated for her Emmy and Tony victories, has now earned a spot on the illustrious Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Paulson has captivated audiences primarily through her extensive television career, notably with her frequent collaborations with acclaimed writer Ryan Murphy. She has portrayed numerous characters in nearly a hundred episodes of Murphy’s “American Horror Story” series and currently stars in his latest creation, “All’s Fair.”
During the ceremony on Tuesday, Murphy praised Paulson’s versatility, remarking, “Sarah the Magnificent can embody any role, transforming into anyone or anything.”
Actress Amanda Peet, a close friend of Paulson, also expressed her admiration at the event.
“The girl from Tampa who once decorated her walls with magazine cutouts of stars has truly become one herself,” Peet shared.
Paulson’s partner, actress Holland Taylor, also addressed the crowd.
“Her acting is as honest as a vow of faith and as complicated as chemistry,” she said.
After the ceremony, Paulson told ABC7: “It’s a little out-of-body to sit there and be forced to listen to everybody say nice things about you and to talk about your work in a way that feels full of reverence.”
“It’s just a little dizzying but I’m trying to take it all in,” she added.
Paulson’s star is right next to Murphy’s on Hollywood Boulevard near Hudson Avenue.
