Travis Kelce recently unveiled details about his romantic escape to Italy with Taylor Swift last year, where they stayed at a lavish location reportedly priced at $21,000 per night.

In May 2024, amidst a brief pause from Swift’s Eras Tour, the celebrity duo sought solace at Lake Como. They were seen enjoying leisurely boat rides, sharing kisses under the rain, and savoring meals at a villa linked to the esteemed Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

The couple spent three nights at the historic Villa Sola Cabiati, an 18th-century estate with origins tracing back to the 16th century, as highlighted on its website.

Their presence at this opulent holiday spot sparked a frenzy among fans, and now the NFL star has shared some intriguing insights about the getaway.

These revelations came to light during an interview with his brother Jason Kelce, where they conversed with George Clooney, who is renowned for owning a residence on Lake Como with his wife Amal.

‘Me and Tay danced around Lake Como for a little while. I loved it out there,’ said Travis, 36, on an episode of his and Jason’s podcast New Heights.

They spent three nights at the 18th century Villa Sola Cabiati, the website of which notes that the structure ‘roots going back to the 16th century’ 

He joked to Clooney that ‘they love to point it out whenever you’re on the lake,’ to which the Out of Sight star cheekily replied that his villa was ‘part of the tour.’

Meanwhile Travis raved about the ‘lovely’ locals and dished that ‘Every morning, I was throwing my shoes on, running up and down the water.’

His reverie about his past holiday continued: ‘We had gloomy days, we had beautiful days. Every single day was a new epic realization of what’s really around the world. I have never imagined that place in my dreams.’

The NFL superstar’s jaunt to Lake Como with Swift was his ‘first time’ in Italy, and he discovered ‘so many little spots that are so fun to go to dinner,’ such as ‘a place that has 10 seats in the corner of a cove and it’s just the best pasta you can imagine.’

Travis, who signed a $34.2 million two-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs last year, called Lake Como ‘such a cool place. I recommend that place for everybody.’

During the same interview, Clooney revealed the secret to avoiding rocking the boat with his respective other as he insisted that he and his wife, lawyer and human rights activist Amal Clooney, have not argued in a decade. 

‘You claim you and your wife haven’t gotten in a fight in 10 years.. are you lying?’ Travis asked the Oscar winner, who appeared as the latest guest on the tight end’s podcast with his brother Jason. 

Clooney hilariously fired back, putting Travis in the hotseat as he responded: ‘No I’m not lying! Should we ask you the same question?’

‘Well it’s only been two and a half years and you’re right, I haven’t gotten in an argument. Never once,’ Travis insisted of his romance with global icon Swift. 

The blockbuster actor went on to reveal the real reason that he and his wife, who tied the knot in 2014, are rarely embroiled in marital spats. 

‘Honestly, obviously neither of us are going to win the argument, so why get in it?’ he questioned.  

‘That’s a smart man,’ said Jason, the Philadelphia Eagles legend. ‘What’s the secret? Just staying out of the argument altogether?’ 

‘Dude, I’m 64 years old, what am I going to argue about at this point?’ Clooney replied. 

‘You know, I met this incredible woman who’s beautiful and smart and stands for all the important things that I believe in,’ he touchingly added. ‘I can’t believe how lucky I am, so what am I going to fight about?’

‘Damn that’s a good one,’ Travis chimed in as Jason claimed he would be ‘stealing that one.’

‘You can use that one if you want,’ Clooney joked, as Travis added: ‘I’m just taking notes this whole time.’ 

Travis and Swift got engaged in August with the football star popping the question in a romantic, floral setting after transforming the backyard of his Missouri mansion into a fairytale backdrop.

The couple have shared a number of romantic moments with Travis jetting out to support the songstress during the European leg of her Eras Tour last year, which included an amorous pitstop in Lake Como, Italy.

Travis then joked that the actor, who has a home on the lake, was a stop on the on-water tours of the area, which is a celebrity haven.
