Infantino: ‘Trump deserved Nobel Peace Prize’

Why is Donald Trump considered a top contender for a peace award? The answer may lie in his close association with Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President. Infantino and Trump have shared the spotlight on numerous occasions, particularly when promoting major sporting events like the Club World Cup and the upcoming World Cup.

Infantino has not been shy about his belief that Trump is deserving of prestigious recognition. He has openly expressed that Trump should have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, highlighting his decisive actions in international diplomacy.

In a statement made in October, Infantino emphasized global support for ongoing peace efforts, saying, “Everyone around the world should now fully support this peace process. President Donald J. Trump definitely deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for his decisive actions.”

While addressing the European Football Clubs General Assembly, Infantino noted how discussions centered on unity, a theme that resonated with recent developments in the Middle East. Although not directly linked to football, he felt compelled to commend these positive changes as he began his remarks.

‘Unity was indeed a key theme of discussions at the European Football Clubs General Assembly and, although it is not directly related to football, I had to open my remarks by stating how pleased I was to hear the news about these encouraging developments in the Middle East.’

It’s hard to see who else would challenge for it.
