SAVANNAH, Ga. – Residents of Savannah can expect a rather dreary Saturday, as the region will be under the spell of cool, cloudy, and breezy weather, accompanied by periods of rain. The precipitation will be intermittent, but at times quite heavy, potentially causing minor flooding on roads. If you’re heading out, exercise caution while driving, as temperatures will linger below the norm, peaking only in the low to mid-50s.

As we move into Sunday, the clouds remain, although the chance of rain diminishes somewhat. Coastal areas should brace for ongoing breezy conditions, with temperatures slightly improving into the mid to upper 50s. While not as widespread as Saturday’s rain, passing showers can still be anticipated.

Monday will offer another day dominated by clouds, with temperatures holding steady in the mid to upper 50s. A few showers may still pop up, but a cold front is poised to sweep through, shifting the low-pressure system away from the coast by Tuesday.

Tuesday heralds the return of sunshine, but it comes with a chill. Morning temperatures will hover around the freezing mark, and even the afternoon highs will struggle to surpass the low to mid-50s. Come Wednesday morning, the mercury will once again dip to freezing, though the day should warm slightly, with highs reaching into the low to mid-60s.

Looking towards Thursday, the sun continues to shine, bringing temperatures up to the mid-60s. However, by Friday, another low-pressure system is expected to inch closer, introducing the possibility of a few showers. Despite this, temperatures are likely to rise into the upper 60s, offering a warmer end to the week.
