CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The long-awaited development of a new hotel in Downtown Champaign is finally gaining momentum, thanks to efforts from a former Illini. This project is set to bring a fresh, collegiate-themed hotel to the bustling area.

Originally conceived as a Marriott-branded establishment, the hotel will now be part of the “Graduate Hotels” series by Hilton. Located at the corner of Hill and Neil Streets, this hotel will join a network of similar establishments at various Big Ten universities. Visitors can look forward to amenities including a coffee shop, fitness center, and an onsite restaurant, enhancing the experience for anyone exploring the area.
