The enchanting world of Walt Disney World is about to become the backdrop for a heartwarming holiday film set to debut in 2026. Lacey Chabert, a beloved figure on the Hallmark Channel, will lead the cast in this festive movie, which is part of Hallmark’s renowned Countdown to Christmas lineup.

WASHINGTON D.C. — Hallmark Channel is entering new territory as it collaborates for the first time ever with Walt Disney World to produce an original holiday film. Titled “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True,” this movie promises to bring even more magic to the season.

Filmed on location at the iconic Orlando resort, the movie stars not only Lacey Chabert but also features Travis Van Winkle, Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Bryce Dufee, Taegen Burns, Asher Alexander, and a special cameo by Patrick Renna. The film is eagerly anticipated and will premiere as part of Hallmark’s cherished Countdown to Christmas event.

“Every day at our theme parks and resorts, countless unique stories unfold, creating new memories for our guests,” shared Sally Conner, Vice President of Global Content. “This film beautifully encapsulates that magic, allowing us to share joy and pixie dust with audiences everywhere.”

“Across our theme parks, resorts, and beyond, countless unique stories unfold and new memories are made every day with our guests,” Sally Conner, VP Global Content said. “This film is a wonderful way to share that joy and pixie dust with fans everywhere.”

While Hallmark and Disney have collaborated on merchandise for decades, this marks the first time the two brands have come together for a new, original film.

The story follows Lindsey (Chabert), who heads to Walt Disney World with her extended family for a Christmas getaway. Her plans take an awkward turn when she discovers her hotel room is next door to Philip (Van Winkle), a recent first date that did not go well. As they keep crossing paths around the parks, the tension slowly softens, thanks to a little holiday magic and a well-timed wish.

The collaboration will also extend beyond the screen. A co-branded Disney and Hallmark holiday product collection, including ornaments, greeting cards and gifts tied to the movie, is expected to arrive during the 2026 holiday season.

Filming will take place at Walt Disney World, with more production updates expected next year.
