Multiple departments respond to Gifford house fire, home ruled a total loss

A devastating fire on Saturday has left a two-story residence in Gifford, Illinois, completely destroyed. The incident occurred on 3500 N., prompting a swift response from local emergency services.

Gifford Fire Chief Brodie Crozier reported that the initial call came in after smoke was seen billowing from the roof. As the Gifford Fire Protection District made its way to the scene, the severity of the fire escalated, leading to the involvement of additional firefighters from neighboring areas, including Rantoul, Ludlow, and Bluegrass. Arrow Ambulance also joined the effort to provide support.
