Although Bravo typically holds off on confirming the cast until closer to the premiere of a new season, insider information hints at possible shake-ups. According to a source, a couple of current cast members might see their roles reduced as the production team considers introducing fresh faces.

“The RHOSLC cast will largely remain the same, but with one or two newcomers joining,” shared the insider with Bravo and Cocktails on December 4. “It will resemble The Real Housewives of Miami, featuring a mix of main cast members and prominently showcased friends. At this point, Bronwyn Newport, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, Mary Cosby, and a new addition are expected to be full-time cast members.”

The source also mentioned that decisions are pending for Meredith Marks, 53, and Whitney Rose. One of them will continue as a full-time member, while the other might see a shift to a “friend” status on the show.

The insider went on to say that when it came to Meredith Marks, 53, and Whitney Rose, one of the women would be full-time, while the other was demoted to a “friend” role.”

As for Britani Bateman, 54, she will reportedly remain a “friend,” along with another new cast member.

“They want to introduce new women because after season [seven] they know a couple might be gone,” the source concluded.

Although former cast member Jen Shah, 52, is expected to be released from prison on December 10, she will not be returning to the show.

Amid rumors of the supposed possibility, Andy Cohen, 57, silenced the chatter on the December 2 episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live.

“I just want to say once again, for anyone who is asking. I think I’ve said this before: She’s not coming back to [RHOSLC]. She’s not,” he declared. “I wish her all the best in her next life. I would assume she’ll wind up on a reality show of some kind. But it won’t be anything that I’m working on. I don’t know that I could see Bravo working with her again. So, there you go. Let’s just, can we put a period on the end of that sentence?”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
